Katherine Peterson
Katherine Peterson graduated cum laude from Indiana University at Bloomington, where she studied violin with the world-renowned violin pedagogue, Josef Gingold. She studied piano with Gladys Gladstone. She has won numerous awards as a violinist and pianist. She has performed in three concerts in Carnegie Hall and in numerous concerts throughout the United States and Europe. In addition, she has performed for many concerts and assemblies for children in public and private schools.
Katherine has taught fun and creative private violin and piano lessons to students of all ages for 20 years. In addition, she composes and loves to improvise. Her music samples can be heard on itunes. Katherine also performs for concerts, weddings, parties and special events in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas as a violin soloist and violinist with her Katherine's Concert Associates Chamber Ensembles.
Katherine is a member of Music Teachers' Association of California, National Federation of Musicians' Union, Chamber Music America and A.S.C.A.P, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
