Leah Rothe
I studied violin performance and chamber music with the Miami String Quartet at Florida International University. I later received my Bachelor's in Violin Performance at University of South Florida. I have attended summer music festivals such as Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC and Florida International Festival on full-scholarship to study with the London Symphony Orchestra.
I am currently a freelance violinist performing regularly with Orlando Philharmonic, Southwest Florida Symphony, Brevard Symphony, opera Tampa, Disney/Epcot, and chamber music for small functions.
I teach classical violin playing to any age, any level. I can also help students prepare for All-County, All-State, Youth Orchestra, and Solo & Ensemble. I have supplemental music suggestions available for the student at the first lesson. In addition to violin technique and auditioning skills, I also teach practice strategies.
Learning to play the violin is a journey, a commitment, and an investment. Whatever your needs or desires are with your violin, allow me to guide you on your musical journey!
