Regina Shenderovich
Regina Shenderovich began her musical studies at the age of five in her native Russia. After early lessons at the St. Petersburg music school #33, she entered the special School of advanced studies in Music at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory of the St. Petersburg in 1993.She emigrated to the United States in August 2000. Ms. Shenderovich has performed as soloist in many cites of Russia, as well as in Europe and the United States. Some of these places include St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ekaterinburg(Russia), Riga(Latvia), Minsk(Belorussia), Piarnu(Estonia), Salt Lake City, Portland ,New York, Boston, Philadelphia(USA), Crakow(Poland). Regina Shenderovich performed with the Leningrad Military District Headquarter Orchestra in the George Gershwin Festival, celebrating the composer’s 100th birthday, which took place in St. Petersburg in February 1998. In summer of the 1998 she took part in the Bowdoin Summer Music Festival in Maine where she studied with Martin Canin of the Juilliard school.
Regina Shenderovich has taken masterclasses with numerous musicians including Ian Hobson, Jakov Kasman, Bernd Glemser, Robert Taub, Enrique Graf , Margarita Fyodorova, Jerome Rose,Jerome Lowenthal and others.

In June 1996 Ms. Shenderovich took part in the 4th Junior Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in Salt Lake City(USA) and was awarded the Honorable mention and Scholarship Award. In September 1997 she won the European semifinal of the 5th International High School Music and Fine Art Competition in Cracow(Poland). In January 1998 she participated in the 1st Maria Yudina International Piano Competition in St. Petersburg and was awarded a Special Prize for the virtuosity. In the summer of 1999 Ms. Shenderovich took part in the prestigious Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano(Italy), where she was a semifinalist at age of 16. In 2002 she won 1st prize at the Churchill Piano Competition. In summer 2002 Ms. Shenderovich participated at the International Piano –Institute where she studied with Russian –American pianist Vladimir Feltsman. Also she won 3rd prize at the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition. In summer 2003 she participated at Sergei Babayan International Piano Academy.
In 2004 Ms. Shenderovich finished Bachelor of Music degree program at The Boston Conservatory as a student of Michael Lewin. In May 2006 she earned her Master of Music Degree at Peabody Conservatory as a full scholarship student of Leon Fleisher. In summer 2006 Ms. Shenderovich took part in the International Keyboard Institute in New York. In September 2006 she participated at the Leeds International Piano Competition and has received the Henry Rudolf Meisels Bursary Award. In summer 2007 she attended Music Academy of the West where she studied with Jerome Lowenthal of the Juilliard school. Ms. Shenderovich has served on the faculty of the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia from 2006 to 2008. She is currently a first year DMA student at the UIUC.
