I'm an experienced professional guitarist and guitar teacher. I've been playing for over 24 years and teaching for 20. I am Berklee graduate.
I accept students from 5 years old through adult. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced students welcome! Adult beginners welcome - it doesn't matter if you've played before.
Whether you are looking for a new hobby, or are serious about pursuing music as a career, I have a lot to teach you. I teach ALL genres, so you can learn to play the music YOU want to play.
Most beginners take weekly lessons, a few students take occasional lessons to fit their hectic schedule.
Lessons are in my studio in Tribeca. Lessons at your home also available.
Lessons are $30/30 min or $40/45 min; $50/hour

Eyal Maoz - An accomplished guitarist, teacher and composer, Maoz is the founder of many ensembles. He began playing the guitar at age 15 and quickly became a leader both as a musician and a composer. Since then he has led his various ensembles at the Verizon Jazz Festival, three years at the Red Sea International Jazz Festival, the New York Jewish Music and Heritage Festival, Florida Music Harvest, and The Jewzapalooza Festival in NYC. He recently played with John Zorn's Cobra at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC. He has recorded for Tzadik, Piadrum, Keonix and WMD Records. His music has been featured on NPR, MTV and in the film Keepers Of Eden.
