Laurie Lee Cosby
Laurie Lee Cosby serves as the DFW Executive Director of Studio Bella Voce. Studio Bella Voce has Associates who teach in several locations thoughout Texas. Ms. Cosby also serves as adjunct voice instructor and handbell director at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Ms. Cosby is a board member of DFW NATS, is active in the Texoma region and has been a national NATS conference presenter. Ms. Cosby is certified in Elisabeth Howard's acclaimed Vocal Power method. Ms. Cosby also serves a voice adjudicator for vocal competitions and workshop clinician and voice coach for numerous organizations.
Ms. Cosby's students have been 1st Place Winners at HOU/DFW NATS as well as Most Outstanding Student at UIL, TPSMEA and chair winners for All State Choir. She has also had high school Tommy Tune (Houston) and Betty Buckley (Fort Worth) nominees. Her students have also been awarded scholarships at prestigious schools such as OCU, NYU and OU.
Laurie Lee Cosby is a lyric coloratura soprano and mix and belt performer. She performs oratorio, music theatre, classic recital, big band and standard concert literature. She has appeared as featured soloist and in major roles with the Kingwood Pops Orchestra, Conroe Symphony Orchestra, Texas Brass Blues Band, Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Tulsa, American Theatre Company of Tulsa and The Crighton Players of Montgomery County.
