I have been an active private piano teacher in the area for over fifty years. I am the president of the Golden Gate branch of the Music Teachers Association of California (check their website).
I teach because I love teaching. I enjoy watching my students improve and become involved in the infinite opportunities for self expression that the study of music has to offer. I like and respect children, and they like and respect me. I work effectively with adults because it becomes obvious to them in a short time that I know what I'm doing. A lesson with me is hard work; but it's also fun. You'll find out.
I am a concert pianist with a large classical repertoire. I also teach jazz and ragtime music. Call me at my home, which is also my studio, at 650-755-5420 any morning after 10:00AM and we will talk about it. Rates: 1/2 hr.-$20, 45 min.-$30, 1 hr.-$40
